Directions

  1. In a small bowl mix together tomato sauce and catsup. In a large bowl combine beef, Large eggs, crumbs and 1/2 c. tomato mix. Stuff 4 whole green chiles with 1/2 of the cheese cut into strips. Grate remaining cheese and cut remaining chiles into strips.
  2. In a well greased 5 x 10 x 3 inch loaf pan, pour 1/2 tomato mix to cover bottom. Spread 1/2 meat mix over this. Lay 4 stuffed chiles in pairs on meat mix. Cover with remaining meat. Pour remaining tomato sauce over top and garnish with grated cheese and chile strips. Bake in preheated oven (350 degrees) for 1 hour. Remove from oven and allow to set 5 min before serving. Serves 4-6.
