Ingredients
- 2 c. baking soda
- 1 1/4 c. cool water
- 1 c. cornstarch
Directions
- Mix cornstarch and soda, blending well. Add in cool water and mix till smooth. Boil 1 minute till it looks like mash potatoes. Stir constantly. Spoon onto bread board.
- Cover with damp towel and allow to cold. Knead the dough and roll out. Use cookie cutters or possibly mold shapes by hand. Dry till hard 1 to 2 days. Paint ornaments with Tempra or possibly water colors. Dry and clear shallac. Press wire hanger into back before dough dries.
