Chicken With Sour Cream & Paprika

Ingredients

  • 1 frying chicken
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. paprika
  • 1/4 c. chicken stock
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. cream or possibly lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into pcs. Heat butter in heavy skillet. Saute/fry onions till golden brown. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic pwdr and paprika. Add in chicken stock. Arrange chicken in skillet, cover and cook till tender, about 40 min. Blend flour with cream or possibly lowfat milk. Gradually add in 1 c. of stock from skillet to flour/cream mix. Return blend to skillet. Heat till thick. Add in lowfat sour cream and heat without boiling. Serve with rice or possibly noodles.
