Ingredients

  • 1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut into 4ths or possibly 8ths
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce (light or possibly reg.)
  • 1 c. sherry wine
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, slivered
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 lg. onions, sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon powdered ginger (scant) may use fresh ginger

Directions

  1. Stir together soy sauce, sherry wine, honey and ginger. Put chicken in marinade and add in onions and garlic. Stir to cover chicken completely with all ingredients. Marinate for 1 1/2 hrs. Cook on charcoal grill, turning so which all sides are brown.
