Directions

  1. Salt and pepper chicken pcs, then sprinkle with paprika. Brown chicken in butter. Put in Dutch oven, cover with 2 qts water. Add in all other ingredients except for the potatoes. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add in potatoes and cook for 30 min or possibly till potatoes are tender. Serve hot in bowls. A crisp salad and hot French bread will complete the meal.
