Ingredients

  • 1 cut up chicken
  • 2 c. raw rice
  • 3/4 c. minced celery
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 env. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 sm. can mushrooms
  • 9 x 13 inch or possibly larger baking pan or possibly sm. roaster

Directions

  1. Pour raw rice over bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle celery, onion and green pepper over top of rice. Sprinkle liquid removed mushroom pcs over this. Mix mushroom soup with 3 cans of warm water; pour over rice. Sprinkle onion soup mix on top. Then place chicken on top. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 2 hrs.
