Ingredients

  • 2 x Chickens, fryers, 2 1/2 lb, cut up
  • 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 4 Tbsp. Veg. oil
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 x Onions, sliced
  • 1 c. Green pepper, diced
  • 1 can Tomatoes, 2 pound 3 ounce.
  • 1 can Tomato paste, 8 ounce.
  • 2 x Chicken bou'ln cubes, crush
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 x Bay leaf, crumbled
  • 1/2 c. Dry red wine

Directions

  1. Wash and dry chicken pcs; shake in bag with flour, salt and paprika.
  2. Heat oil in skillet and brown chicken pcs. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels. Saute/fry peppers and onion till soft but not brown. Add in garlic and saute/fry for 30 seconds more. Layer chicken and vegetable mix in removable liner. Add in remaining ingredients. Place liner in base and cover.
  3. Cook on auto for 4-5 hrs, low 6-8 hrs or possibly highfor 3-4 hrs.
