  • 1 Tbsp. margarine or possibly butter
  • 1 1/4 lb skinless boneless chicken breast halves cut into thin strips
  • 1 lrg unpeeled tart eating apple sliced
  • 1 3/4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 pkt fast cooking long (6.25 oz) grain and wild rice mix additional apples slices if you like

Directions

  1. Heat margarine in 12 inch skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken and apple in margarine 10-12 min, stirring occasionally, till chicken is no longer pink in center. Stir in broth and rice. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer about 5 min or possibly till rice is tender. Top with additional apple slices.
