Chick Peas In Olive Tahini Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 3 lrg Celery stalks, minced
  • 1 med Red or possibly green bell pepper, minced Olive-tahini sauce -- see recipe
  • 3 c. Cooked chick peas
  • 1/4 c. Wheat germ
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander Black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet. When warm, add in garlic, onion & celery & saute/fry until onion is translucent/soft. Add in bell pepper & saute/fry until vegetables are lightly browned. Remove from heat & pour olive-tahini sauce into the skillet along with the remaining ingredients. Return to low heat & simmer 5 to 7 min. Serve over rice or possibly other grain.
