Ingredients
- ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) butter, melted
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 ¾ cups sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer at low speed for 3 minutes or until well blended.
- Add sugar and vanilla; beat until blended.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt just until blended.
- Reserve 1 ¾ cups batter. Stir cocoa into remaining batter.
- Spread chocolate batter in prepared pan. Top with reserved batter.
- Bake 30 minutes or until edges begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
