Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Packed brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Margarine, softened
- 2 x Egg whites
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt (optional)
- 1 c. Raisins
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 3/4 c. Applebutter or possibly applesauce
- 2 Tbsp. Skim lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flout
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 c. Oats (quick or possibly oldfashioned, uncooked)
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 . Beat together sugars and margarine till blended. Add in apple butter, egg whites, lowfat milk, and vanilla; beat well. Add in combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. (Dough will be moist.) Spread dough in greased 13-by-9-inch baking pam. Bake for 25 to 30 min or possibly till light brown. Cold before cutting into bars.
