.%20I%20was%20also%20right%20behind%20a%20woman%20who%20completely%20blocked%20my%20view%20of%20the%20instructor.%20I%20vaguely%20realized%20I%20should%20find%20another%20space,%20but%20the%20open%20spots%20quickly%20filled%20as%20a%20few%20more%20people%20floated%20in%20late.%20The%20dancing%20began%20and%20I%20decided%20I%20would%20have%20to%20just%20make%20the%20best%20of%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20woman%20on%20my%20right,%20bless%20her%20heart,%20was%20always%20several%20steps%20behind,%20meaning%20that%20when%20it%20was%20time%20to%20travel%20to%20the%20right,%20I%20had%20nowhere%20to%20go.%20The%20fan,%20bless%20its%20heart,%20was%20on%20full-blast,%20freezing%20me%20to%20the%20bone%20no%20matter%20how%20frantically%20I%20danced%20to%20warm%20myself%20up.%20Without%20being%20able%20to%20see%20the%20instructor%20(or%20myself%20in%20the%20mirror),%20I%20was%20confused%20as%20to%20the%20steps%20half%20the%20time%20and%20confused%20about%20whether%20or%20not%20I%20was%20doing%20them%20right%20the%20other%20half.%20I%E2%80%99d%20say%20for%2095%25%20of%20the%20class%20I%20was%20just%20vaguely%20wiggling%20with%20no%20rhythm%20or%20reason.%20I%20usually%20like%20to%20dance%20my%20heart%20out%20and%20pretend%20I%E2%80%99m%20on%20America%E2%80%99s%20Got%20Talent%20in%20Zumba,%20but%20yesterday%20I%20looked%20more%20like%20a%20person%20who%20has%20dozed%20off%20at%20a%20picnic%20and%20woken%20up%20covered%20in%20fire%20ants:%20a%20lot%20of%20shivering%20and%20thrashing,%20with%20some%20aimless%20jiggling%20of%20arms%20thrown%20in%20for%20good%20measure.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20nobody%E2%80%99s%20fault.%20The%20woman%20to%20my%20right%20was%20doing%20her%20best%20and%20had%20as%20much%20right%20to%20muddle%20through%20the%20moves%20as%20I%20did.%20The%20woman%20in%20front%20of%20me%20had%20no%20idea%20she%20was%20blocking%20my%20view,%20nor%20could%20she%20have%20moved%20anywhere%20if%20she%20had.%20I%20could%E2%80%99ve%20moved%20the%20fan,%20but%20I%E2%80%99d%20just%20be%20pointing%20it%20at%20some%20other%20poor,%20unsuspecting%20soul%20and%20freezing%20them%20right%20down%20to%20their%20sneakers.%20I%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20the%20only%20one%20that%20seemed%20to%20have%20caught%20the%20grumpy%20bug,%20either;%20looking%20around%20the%20room,%20half%20of%20the%20women%20seemed%20asleep%20and%20the%20other%20half%20seemed%20like%20they%20were%20dancing%20through%20thick%20maple%20syrup.%20My%20Zumba%20instructor%20%E2%80%94%20who%20is%20my%20favorite%20instructor,%20hands%20down,%20and%20who%20usually%20has%20a%20cheerful,%20energetic%20class%20%E2%80%94%20seemed%20to%20sense%20the%20cranky-pants%20vibe%20going%20on%20in%20the%20room,%20since%20she%20encouraged%20us%20repeatedly%20to,%20%E2%80%9CSmile!%20Have%20fun%20with%20it!%E2%80%9D%20only%20to%20be%20met%20with%20more%20confused,%20half-hearted%20sashaying.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20just%20an%20unpleasant%20situation,%20we%20were%20in%20unpleasant%20moods,%20it%20was%20an%20unpleasant%20morning.%20Whiiiine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20life%20gives%20you%20lemons,%20you%20could%20totally%20make%20lemonade.%20Or%20even%20lemon%20granita?%20But%20I%E2%80%99m%20also%20betting%20these%20tart,%20sweet,%20buttery%20little%20shortbread%20cookies%20will%20help%20you%20change%20your%20grouchy%20tune.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20based%20this%20recipe%20on%20my%20Thyme%20Orange%20Cranberry%20Shortbread%20Cookies,%20but%20switched%20out%20a%20few%20things.%20These%20cookies%20include%20cherries,%20rosemary,%20and%20lots%20of%20lemon%20juice.%20The%20drizzle%20of%20white%20chocolate%20at%20the%20end%20sweetens%20them%20up%20so%20they%20can%20sweeten%20your%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFour%20years%20ago:%20Ferrero%20Rocher%20Cupcakes%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
