Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice – 250 gms
  • Cinnamon – 1 to 2
  • Cloves – 1 to 2
  • Bay Leaf – 1
  • Cardamoms – 2 to 3
  • Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Onion – 1, finely sliced
  • Milk – 50 ml, boiled
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tsp
  • Mint Leaves – 2 tsp, chopped
  • Coriander Leaves – 3 tsp, chopped
  • Green Chilli – 1, slit
  • Cashew Nuts – 1 tblsp, chopped
  • Ghee – 1 tblsp
  • Oil – 3 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Saffron Strands – 1 tsp, soaked in 1 tblsp warm milk (optional)
