Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
2 c. flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Stir in syrup and melted chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients and add in to creamed mix. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Roll and cut. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 min.
