Ingredients
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Margarine
- 2 pkt Yeast
- 8 c. Flour
- 1 x Egg
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Cardamom
- 2 pkt Yeast
- 1/4 c. Hot water
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in hot water and 1 Tbsp. sugar. Scald lowfat milk and add in margarine. When cold add in egg, sugar, cardamon, salt and dissolved yeast.
- Add in 7 c. flour and mix well. Place 1/2 c. flour or possibly more on board as you knead dough for about 5 min. Place dough in greased bowl and let rise till double in size (approximately 2 to 3 hrs). Punch down and let rise again. Divide into 3 sections and make into cinnamon rolls, braided or possibly ringed coffee cakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. (Call if you need help!)
