Caramel Pecan Bars

For the most part I have these ingredients on hand-they are staples in my book, and this is a super easy dessert to throw together in no time! And after giving Hubby his piece and him taking a bite, I quote: “Oh yeah, I’m gonna need more of that!”

Caramel Pecan Bars

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 9 x 13 baking dish. Top with pecans. Drizzle evenly with caramel topping. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until caramel is bubbling. Place on a wire rack to cool. Immediatley sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand for 5 minutes and then with an offset spatula, spread the chocolate over the caramel. Cool for at least 6 hours or until chocolate is set.
