Green beans are one of the easiest vegetables to can.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Green Beans
  • Plain Salt

Directions

  1. Wash Beans.
  2. Cut beans into 1”-2” pieces.
  3. Fill jars with green beans.
  4. Put 1 teaspoon of plain salt in each quart jar and a ½ teaspoon for each pint jar.
  5. Fill Jars with hot water.
  6. Process green beans in pressure cooker.
  7. Check lid for a seal before storing.
