Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 x slightly underripe bananas
  • 1 pch salt
  • 1 x juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small saucepan, heat together brown sugar and water. Boil about 5 min. Peel bananas and slice lengthwise and then laterally and place in buttered shallow baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with salt. Add in to the cooled syrup, juice of 1/2 lemon. Pour the syrup over the bananas and bake about 30 min, turning them after the first 15 min.
  3. Serves 2.
