  • salt and plenty of freshly ground pepper
  • 3/4 cup frozen green peas, defrosted
  • 1 pre-made recipe pie crust, thawed or 450g puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten with a pinch of salt
  • tarragon can be substituted with thyme if desired
  • 16 ounces dry spaghetti plus ¼ cup reserved pasta water
