Ingredients

  • 4 lb Whole squid Boiling salted water
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 c. Dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice Salt & pepper
  • 1 dsh Sugar

Directions

  1. Clean squid. Cook in boiling salted water till tender; drain. Cut into squares; set aside. Heat butter in skillet; stir in flour.
  2. Combine lowfat sour cream & water; gradually add in to flour mix, stirring till smooth & thickened. Add in squid, lemon juice, salt, pepper & sugar; heat to serve piping warm.
