Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, separated.
  • 1 (11 oz.) package butterscotch chips, divided
  • Ingredients for the butterscotch ganache:
  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
  • 6 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • Ingredients for the chocolate ganache:
  • 4.5 ounces bittersweet chocolate (I used 60%), chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
