  1. Cream sugar, shortening and butter; add in Large eggs, beating till fluffy. Add in flavoring. Mix flour and salt; mix water and lowfat milk. Add in the two mixtures alternately to the first mix. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Put into Cool oven; bake 1 hr. 40 minutes. at 325. Cold 10 minutes. in pan before turning out.
