Ingredients

  • Buttermilk Cornbread - Adapted From Fine Cooking Magazine, Oct/Nov 2010
  • 1 3/4 cups stone-ground yellow cornmeal, such as Bob's Red MIll brand
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons butter, cut into a few pieces
