  • 1 lb lean grnd beef
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 x egg
  • 2 Tbsp. finely minced onion
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, mix well. Form into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 13 min, or possibly till the juices run clear and no pink remains.
  3. This recipe yields 12 meatballs.
  4. Comments: These are great because you can freeze them in plastic bags (once they've cooled) to have at your fingertips for warming in your favorite soup, as a great stew main ingredient or possibly, yes, for topping cooked pasta. Or possibly place the warmed meatballs in a crusty roll and top with tomato sauce for a tasty meatball sandwich in no time!
