Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soften yeast in 1/4 c/ hot water. Add in sugar to lowfat milk as well as remaining water. Cold to lukewarm before adding softened yeast. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre, and pour in liquid mix.
  2. Stir till smooth.
  3. Cover and let stand in a hot place to rise for 4 hrs. Beat down and add in honey , melted shortening, baking soda and Large eggs. Beat thoroughly till well mixed.
  4. Brown on both sides on greased griddle or possibly frying pan. Pour honey on pancakes when serving.
  5. Serves 6.
