Ingredients

  • 8 slc White bread without crusts
  • 1 lb Grated sharp Cheddar
  • 8 x Large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. Half-and-half lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. Finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp Accent Softened butter

Directions

  1. Butter casserole dish. Butter bread slices & layer bread & cheese in dish.
  2. Combine Large eggs & seasonings in blender. Pour over bread & cheese. Cover with foil & chill overnight. Take out of refrigerator 1/2 hour before baking. Bake at 300 for 1-1/2 hrs.
  3. TIME INCLUDES OVERNIGHT REFRIG.
