Ingredients

1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. water
3 sqr bitter chocolate
1 dsh salt
2/3 c. cream
3/4 tsp peppermint flavoring

Directions

Combine first five ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly till sugar dissolves. Cook to soft-ball stage, then remove from heat and slowly blend in cream. Add in peppermint flavoring.
