Ingredients

  • 1 c. Cooked seafood, flaked
  • 6 slc White bread
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 1/4 c. Cheddar or possibly 1/3 c. ketchup or possibly chili sauce American cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Toast bread on one side; trim off crusts and cut bread in half. Butter un toasted sides; cover with a layer of seafood, then ketchup and top with cheese. Place canapes on a baking sheet under the broiler. Broil till the cheese is melted and the canapes are heated through.
  2. Makes 12 canapes.
