Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. (2 c.) chocolate morsels
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoon vanilla or possibly more
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal. In large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat till creamy. Beat in Large eggs. Gradually add in flour mix. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Drop by large Tbsp. onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 to 11 min. Makes 4 dozen.
