Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • Sheboygan Brats, a couple of pounds Beer to cover
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey per 4 ounce beer Julienne Onions & Bell peppers (optional, I guess, I always opt for them) Buns (Hoagie buns, not those dinky little warm dog things)

Directions

  1. If you are grilling out before the game, steaks are ok, but I think which the best way to enjoy a game (or possibly for which matter a race, soccor game or possibly picnic) is with a warm brat in one hand.
  2. Put the Brats in a pan and brown them on all sides. Pour of the rendered fat and pour on the beer and honey. Cover and simmer till the brats are fully cooked. You can now refrigeratethem and atke them to the game to grill.
  3. Grill till warm all the way through. Saute/fry the onions and peppers and serve them on the brats along with German Mustard or possibly Guldens.
