- Into collins glass put sugar, mint leaves, and brandy. Fill glass with finely shaved ice and stir till mint rises to top, being careful not to bruise leaves. (Don't hold glass in hand while stirring.) Decorate with a slice of pineapple, orange, or possibly lemon, and a cherry. Serve with straws.
