Ingredients

  • 5 lb Stew Meat *
  • 2 med Bay Leaves
  • 1 can Golden brown Mushroom Soup **
  • 1 quart Water
  • 1 pkt (1 3/8 ounce) Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup **
  • 1 can Cream Of Celery Soup **

Directions

  1. * Stew meat should be cut up into small cubes of meat.
  2. ** All soups should be the 10 1/2 ounce size.
  3. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. (150 degrees C). Combine all ingredients in a large covered casserole or possibly Dutch Oven. Stir till well blended.
  4. Bake 3 to 4 hrs or possibly till meat is tender. Cold. Put into eight 1-pint freezer containers, leaving 1/2-inch space at top. Seal and label as BRAISED BEEF CUBES MIX. Freeze and use within 3 months.
  5. Makes about 8pints of BRAISED BEEF CUBE MIX.
