,%20lots%20of%20lobster%20and%20steamers,%20and%20plenty%20of%20relaxation%20time.%20We%20will%20tell%20you%20about%20it%20once%20we%20get%20ourselves%20organized.%20For%20now,%20we%20have%20a%20recipe%20we%20made%20the%20week%20before%20we%20left.%20Back%20in%20July,%20Chris%20took%20a%20vacation%20from%20our%20New%20Orleans%20vacation%20and%20went%20with%20friends%20J%20and%20L%20to%20the%20Kentucky%20Bourbon%20Trail.%20He's%20a%20huge%20bourbon%20fan,%20so%20this%20was%20a%20real%20treat,%20and%20since%20then,%20we've%20both%20had%20a%20better%20appreciation%20for%20America's%20spirit.%20So%20much%20that%20we%20decided%20to%20play%20around%20with%20it%20in%20the%20kitchen%20a%20little%20bit.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20not%20only%20uses%20bourbon,%20but%20also%20a%20bourbon-smoked%20paprika%20we%20got%20in%20one%20of%20our%20Foodzie%20tasting%20boxes.%20This%20spice%20mixture%20is%20made%20by%20Bourbon%20Barrel%20Foods%20and%20has%20the%20flavor%20of%20sweet%20paprika%20mellowed%20with%20the%20oakiness%20of%20bourbon.%20Perfect%20for%20seasoning%20pork,%20right?%20So%20we%20created%20a%20marinade%20with%20the%20paprika,%20brown%20sugar%20for%20extra%20sweetness,%20and%20bourbon,%20then%20grilled%20our%20marinated%20pork%20sirloin%20chops%20with%20some%20cipollini%20onions%20that%20we%20threw%20onto%20the%20grill%20grates%20for%20a%20simple%20but%20delicious%20side%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKudos%20to%20Chris%20for%20those%20TV-worthy%20grill%20marks,%20huh?%20Nicely%20done!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBourbon%20Smoked%20Paprika%20Pork%20Chops%20with%20Grilled%20Cipollini%20Onions%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20the%20pork%20chops%20with%20salt%20and%20pepper%20and%20place%20in%20a%20large%20zip-type%20bag.%20In%20a%20small%20bowl,%20mix%20together%20the%20paprika,%20brown%20sugar,%20bourbon%20and%20additional%20salt%20and%20pepper.%20Pour%20the%20mixture%20into%20the%20bag%20with%20the%20chops%20and%20allow%20to%20marinate%20for%20at%20least%20one%20hour.%20Place%20the%20pork%20chops%20and%20cipollini%20onions%20on%20a%20heated%20grill.%20Grill%20the%20pork%20chops%20on%20both%20sides%20until%20cooked%20through,%20with%20the%20length%20of%20time%20depending%20on%20size%20of%20chops.%20Grill%20the%20cipollini%20onions%20until%20they%20are%20soft%20and%20start%20to%20caramelize.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
