Asian influenced style Bloody Mary using Bombay Sapphire East. Bombay Sapphire East is a new Gin from the House of Bombay, with the addition of Lemongrass and Black Peppercorns. This drinks helps to highlight these flavors. Great food pairing cocktail with lots of savory and umami flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2oz Bombay Sapphire East
  • 1/2oz Lime juice (or Yuzu if available)
  • 1 Pea sized Wasabi
  • 3 Thai Basil leaves
  • 1/4oz Soy sauce
  • Palmful of chopped lemongrass (muddled)
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of Black pepper ground.
  • 3oz of good quality Tomato juice

Directions

  1. build drink in a highball glass with ice. Stir and serve. Garnish with Thai Basil leaf.
