  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus White Cake Mix
  • 1 1/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. nuts, minced
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (21 ounce.) can blueberry pie filling

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 12 inch pizza pan or a 13 x 9 inch cake pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, one cup rolled oats and 6 Tbsp. butter. Beat at low speed till crumbly.
  4. Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping.
  5. To remaining crumbs, blend one egg.
  6. Press in prepared pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown.
  8. Meanwhile, to reserved crumbs, add in remaining 1/4 c. oats, 2 Tbsp. butter, nuts, sugar and cinnamon, beat well till mixed. Remove base from oven and spread with pie filling.
  9. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mix.
  10. Return to oven and bake 15 to 20 min or until crumbs are light golden brown-brown. Cool completely.
  11. Cut in wedges or squares.
  12. Optional: Top with Cold Whip and a few blueberries in season.
