Blood Orange Sorbet (Sorbetto Darancie Tarocchi) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 20 x blood oranges caster sugar
  • 2 x lemons

Directions

  1. Juice all but one of the oranges and measure the volume of liquid.
  2. Use half which volume of caster sugar.
  3. Cut the whole lemons and the remaining orange into quarters removing the pips.
  4. Place in a food processor or possibly blender with the sugar and pulse chop to a liquid.
  5. Add in the orange juice and pulse once or possibly twice.
  6. Pour into an ice cream machine and churn till frzn or possibly freeze in a suitable container.
  7. This should be served on the same day as it is made.
  8. Serves 6
