Ingredients

  • 12 ounce White wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Frzn Blackberries, thawed
  • 1/2 c. Blackberry liqueur

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, cover and let stand for 5 days or possibly longer at room temperature. Strain vinegar and pour into a sterilized bottle. Throw away Blackberries.
  2. Makes 16 ounces.
  3. GOOD IDEAS FOR SERVING BLACKBERRY VINEGAR:
  4. Toss fresh blueberries and Blackberries with honey and Blackberry vinegar.
  5. Refrigeratetill very cool. Serve in melon rings.
  6. Saute/fry calves liver in a skillet. Serve with veyr well-cooked sauteed onions flavored with Blackberry vinegar.
  7. Great on spinach salads and baked apples. Serve over warm, baked chicken.
