Ingredients

  • 15 gm Butter, ( 1/2oz)
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 x Leeks, finely shredded and thoroughly washed
  • 5 ml Fresh ginger, finely shredded ( 1/4 inch)
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 x 125 gram pac black trumpet mushrooms, brushed and sliced
  • 1 dsh Soy sauce
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 1 pch Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cornflour
  • 1 Tbsp. Water

Directions

  1. Place the butter and oil in a frying pan and over a moderate heat saute/fry the leek, ginger and garlic for approximately 1 minute. Add in the mushrooms and continue to saute/fry for a further 3-4 min.
  2. Add in the soy sauce, salt and sugar and if the mix is wet add in the cornflour combined with the water. Serve immediately.
  3. NOTES : A quick stir-fry accompaniment comprising of wild mushrooms, leeks, ginger and a dash of soy sauce.
