Black Eyed Peas Recipe

Try this basic, but delicious black eyed peas recipe. I do the quick version by using canned peas. Either way, the taste is delicious and it makes a wonderful side dish.

Directions

  1. *Open the two cans of blackeyed peas, drain. Place in a microwavable safe container. Cook on high for about 3 minutes. Let it cool.
  2. *While you wait for the beans to cool, mince 3 cloves of garlic and chop a handful of parsley.
  3. *In a bowl, mix the beans, parsley, and garlic.
  4. *Add 1 T. of Red Wine Vinegar.
  5. *Salt to Taste.
  6. **Taste: Add more salt and/or red wine vinegar, if needed.
