Ingredients
- 1 c. Tomato sauce
- 4 c. Catsup
- 1/2 c. Vinegar
- 1/2 c. Margarine or possibly butter
- 1 c. Water
- 1 tsp Liquid smoke
- 1 c. Maple or possibly corn syrup
- 2 tsp Warm sauce (such as tobasco or possibly Louisiana Red Sauce)
- 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1 tsp Onion pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Steak sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Seasoned salt
- 1 c. Cola
- 1/4 c. Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Red pepper, optional
Directions
- Mix well in large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to avoid scorching. Reduce heat and simmer one hour.
- Makes 2 qts.
- Note: This is the BEST bbq sauce I've ever tasted - you'll never go back to bottled! You may can this after simmering, and it will also keep well in the refrigerator.
