Ingredients
- 1 9" baked pie shell
- 1 quart. fresh strawberries, washed & stemmed
Directions
- Place whole strawberries in mixing bowl and add in 1/3 c. sugar. Stir gently just to coat berries.
- In saucepan place 1 c. sugar, 3 Tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 package (small size) strawberry Jello, 10 ounces of 7-up and 12 drops of red food coloring. Mix well and bring to boil, lower heat, stirring constantly and let cook long sufficient to thicken. Chill. When chilled, place berries in pie shell. Pour thickened mix over top of berries. Refrigerate3-4 hrs before serving. Serve with whipped topping.
