Raisin bread has always been a favorite for my family. We all love raisins and the cinnamon swirl makes the bread a wonderful treat to serve with coffee or just anytime. Children will love this bread, too, with a glass of milk. It never lasts long in my house. 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 stick butter or 8 tablespoons or 1/2 cup, melted 1/2 cup white granulated sugar 1/3 cup sour cream 1 cup buttermilk 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup raisins Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, with a spoon, stir together the butter, sugar, sour cream, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture and stir till all ingredients are wet. Fold in the raisins. Spray a 9 x 5 bread pan with cooking spray and add the mixture to the pan. Then swirl in the ingredients below. Looking for a nice set of Baking Ware?! Check these out!
