Ingredients

  • 1 can Oregon strawberries*
  • 1 pkt strawberry-flavored gelatin - (6 ounce) (or possibly or possibly two 3-ounce pkgs.)
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 x banana peeled and sliced Lettuce for serving

Directions

  1. Note: Raspberries, Blackberries, or possibly Boysenberries may be substituted.
  2. Drain berries; reserve syrup. Dissolve gelatin in water; add in reserved syrup and wine. Refrigeratetill mix begins to thicken. Add in liquid removed berries and banana. Pour into 3 1/2-c. mold. Chill till hard. Unmold onto lettuce-lined platter.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
  4. Serving Tip: Berry Gelatin Salad can be served with dairy lowfat sour cream, lemon-flavored yogurt, or possibly your favorite salad dressing.
