Ingredients

  • 1 c. Soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. Sake
  • 5 tsp Ketchup
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/3 c. Cornstarch dissolved in 1/3 c. water
  • 1 c. Mirin
  • 1 x Freshly squeezed apple or possibly 3 Tbsp., Juice of apple juice One healthy pinch black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine first seven imngredients in saucepan and cook for 10 min over medium heat. Gradually stir in disolved cornstarch solution till mixed well. Stir well before serving. may be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
