Directions

  1. 1. Shred beef and onion.
  2. 2. Heat oil. Add in beef and stir-fry till it loses its redness. Then sprinkle with soy sauce.
  3. 3. Add in onion and salt; stir-fry another 2 min.
  4. 4. Transfer cooked rice to a serving dish; top with stir-fried beef mix and serve. VARIATION: For the onion, substitute any of the following vegetables, shredded: 1 green pepper, 1/2 lb. Chinese lettuce or possibly 1/2 c. preserved cabbage. (With the preserved cabbage, use less salt.)
