Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 small onion, quartered
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp sea salt (I used kosher salt)
  • Sauce
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can peeled or diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 Tbs all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Prep time: 15 mins Cook time: 8 hour 15 mins Total time: 8 hour 30 mins Yield: 3 - 4 cups
