Ingredients

  • 2 lg. onions
  • 2 tbsp. fat or possibly oil
  • 1/2 pound grnd beef
  • 4 c. cooked or possibly canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 c. water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Chop onions. Put onions, fat or possibly oil and grnd beef in pan. Cook till meat is browned and onions are tender. Add in rest of ingredients. Cover and cook slowly about 25 min till rice is tender. Makes 6 servings, 1 c. each.
