Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb beef in 2" cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 can tomatoes - (16 ounce)
  • 2 c. carrots thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. dark molasses
  • 1/4 c. sherry cooking wine (or possibly beef broth)
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1 pkt noodles

Directions

  1. Place beef in crock pot. Combine flour and seasonings. Sprinkle over the beef. Combine tomatoes, carrots, molasses and wine. Pour over beef. Cover and simmer at LOW setting for 7 to 9 hrs.
  2. Add in raisins last 30 min, keep hot. During last 10 min, cook noodles according to package directions. Serve stew over noodles.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
