Directions

  1. Coat meat and onion in butter till browned in a large fry pan. Add in salt, celery and 1 c. water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer till celery is crisp but soft (10 min). Add in Chinese vegetables, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and pineapple and heat till warm. Combine cool water and corn starch. stir in soy sauce and pineapple liquid and add in to meat mix. Cook till slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. Serve warm with cooked rice, chow mein noodles.
  3. Serves 4.
