Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
  • 1/2 pound grnd beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp. minced chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Healthy pinch white pepper
  • Dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 can (4 ounce.) mushroom pcs
  • 3/4 c. (3 ounce.) shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prick bottom and sides of pie shell with fork. Bake 12 to 15 min. Remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. In small skillet cook grnd beef till browned, stirring frequently. Remove with slotted spoon and set aside. In medium bowl, mix mushroom soup, lowfat milk, Large eggs, spices and tabasco. Add in grnd beef, mushrooms and cheese. Pour into pie shell. Cover edges of pie shell with foil. Bake for 60 min or possibly till knife inserted into center comes out clean. 6 servings, about 370 calories each serving.
